Saturday Night Live Adds new Cast Members this week!
Talk about quick changes! Saturday Night Live just added two new cast members to the party. Michaela Watkins is from “The New Adventures of Old Christine” and Abby Elliott is from “King of the Hill” fame. Both are female, both are comediennes and both new cast members of Saturday Night Live better be funny.
Saturday Night Live has been going strong on NBC for well over 30 years now, that when they do toss a couple of new cast members into the mix, it is noteworthy.
Abby Elliott is the daughter of Chris Elliot. Chris Elliott used to be a regular on Saturday Night Live back in the day.
Michaela Watkins got her start from “the Groundlings”, the same alumni that Will Ferrell came from.

What is even more amazing is, both of these comedians just started working for Saturday Night Live today, for this coming Saturday night’s live show.
Despite the short notice, both Abby and Micheala are pros and will be ready for Saturday Night’s Live performance.
Both of these new additions came on board to fill the gap that was left by Amy Arnett, who left her “Weekend Update” anchor post to give birth to her new born son. When Amy goes back to work, it won’t be on Saturday Night Live, but on a new NBC project.
